My $15,000 investment
This week I signed a new contract with my business coach that will add up to a $15,000 investment for the year.
It feels kind of crazy typing out that number.
Like, I could get a well-kept 2015 Honda CRV for that much!
But the truth is that I was prepared to pay even more to keep working with my coach (but don’t tell him that!).
I'm willing to pay him more than a used car because he’s helped me grow my business more in six months than I did on my own in the six years before that.
Good coaches are like cheat codes that way.
And a good relationship coach is like a cheat code for your marriage.
You could read all the bestselling books and viral IG reels out there, just like I did, and you’d learn a lot.
But the real growth and change doesn’t happen until you put that knowledge into practice — and the most insightful book in the world can’t help you do that.
Like how I helped my client Abby and her partner get on the same page with parenting decisions before their second baby arrived.
“We tried seeing therapists,” she said, “but working with Matt was so much more effective because it taught us actual skills to deal with disagreements.
Now we know how to find solutions that work for us both, and my husband and I also feel closer because we can talk to each other with empathy and curiosity, even when we’re in a rough patch.”
If you’re like how Abby was — you and your partner love each other deeply but you’re not the team that you know you can be — click here to send me a message.
And we’ll talk about the changes you can make that will let you and your partner start savoring life together.
