Honesty in a relationship

Most people think that being honest in your relationship means that you don’t lie to your partner.

And that’s a good rule of thumb! — but there are other ways to not be honest.

Like when you want to take a break from the kids and grab a coffee, but you don’t because your partner will say you’re being selfish.

And when you want to tell your partner how their actions sometimes make you feel frustrated and lonely, but you don’t say anything because you know they’ll get mad at you.

The reality is that if you can’t say and do what you want around your partner, then you’re not being honest with them or yourself.

You’re holding parts of yourself back.

And doing this might seem harmless — past generations might even say this is the way relationships are SUPPOSED to work.

But the truth is that you don’t have to settle for a relationship where you’re just trying to avoid making each other mad.

That’s not a true partnership.

A true partnership is knowing without a doubt that you and your partner have each other’s back.

A true partnership is trusting that you can talk to your partner about anything and they will do their best to hear you out.

A true partnership is when you and your partner know in your hearts that you are building the life of your dreams together.

I’ve helped a lot of people transform their relationship into a true partnership, and I can help you do it too.
